Got this pretty little thing out of a hair magazine and I wanted to paint someone but I didn't want someone really complex and I wanted a simple palette of colors to work with. Thus she came about, now she's not completely accurate seeing that I was using acrylics and I don't have any additives to ad to them so they don't dry as fast so I had to work rather quickly. So she's missing a large dark black shadow on her chin but it's almost better that its not there. There was also a lot more skin tone on her neck but I didn't want to mix up more only to fuss it up with black, so therefore I left it as is. I love love love her lips. They look so good! Plus her eyes are too bad either. Currently I've started an oil portrait of her as well but I had to stop that cause my art teacher told me "You have to do one painting at a time!" Which is for the best because I'm a slacker. >.> Estimated time: about 6 hours total I suppose. |
